The Daily Graphic welcomes the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Madam Nancy Pelosi and hopes Ghana and the US will continue to build upon their strong ties for the benefits of their people. The paper appeals to Madam Pelosi to help change inequality as she goes back to her country with hopes that her experience will reignite her to fight harder for true and total economic, political, social and racial emancipation around the world and help fight modern-day slavery.

The Ghanaian Times welcomes President Akufo-Addo’s assurance of ensuring security on the Volta Lake to prevent child trafficking. The paper urges stakeholders to support government’s efforts to protect children and their rights. It is hopeful that government and stakeholders will not relent on their efforts to combat child trafficking in the country. The Times hopes that increased resources will be provided the Police, Immigration Service and Social Welfare Department to enable them to respond in a timely way to fight the menace.
