The Daily Graphic commends the Greater Accra Regional Minister Henry Quartey, for taking a bold step to ensure the relocation of Onion Sellers to Adjen Kotoku in the Ga West municipality. The Paper hopes there will be a strict policy at the new market to ensure good sanitary habits. The Graphic looks forward to Agbogbloshie becoming ground zero, after which it could be developed into a modern functional enclave.  The Papers says the bitter experiences of Agbogbloshie such as disorderliness, poor sanitary conditions, selling and hawking on the streets, and criminal activities must not be repeated. It says all hands must be on deck to ensure the exercise is not a wasted effort.

The Ghanaian Times says the public inquiry into Ejura incident must not be undermined. The paper lauds President Akuffo Addo for paying heed to calls for a probe by setting up of a committee to conduct a public enquiry into the incident. According to the paper, the short deadline given to the committee to complete its work implies that the President wants justice to be served in good time. The Times is therefore of the view, that those who would participate in the findings should present nothing but the truth.
