The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, has reiterated Government’s commitment to increase the number of international tourists into the country from 1.1 million to 1.5 million.

Domestic tourists are also expected to increase from 250 to 1 million people every year by 2023.

Dr Awal who made the disclosure after a tour of some tourist centers in the Upper East Region said the two crocodile ponds in Paga will soon be given a facelift.
