Kim Kardashian has been praised by fans worldwide for giving them another glimpse at her psoriasis battle, showing that the skin ailment has spread to her face.

The 38-year-old star went make-up free on the morning of 17 March to show her 131 million Instagram followers how psoriasis flares up when she wakes up.

In the selfie, Kim’s bare face bears red patches around her cheeks, chin and forehead. Seemingly embracing the skin complaint, Kim captioned the image: ‘Morning psoriasis’, alongside a twinkling star emoji.

Her followers definitely appreciated her willingness to share it as they quickly took to social media to applaud her for using her platform to raise awareness, calling it the ‘most relatable thing she has ever done’.

One fan Tweeted: ‘One day I will be as acceptive with my psoriasis as @KimKardashian is.. She posts hers with no care in the world. [sic]’ Another follower took to social media to thank her for not let them feel ‘like the only one.’ Meanwhile, a fan used the opportunity to describe what the skin ailment is like.

‘Same, @KimKardashian. I cannot wait until psoriasis season is over. I’ve had multiple patches on my face, arms, and legs this year. Definitely the worst year yet for me,’ they wrote.

A bunch of users used the opportunity to share some of their favourite tips and remedies with one, writing: ‘I also suffer from this condition and have found success by eating a strict clean diet rich in inflammatory foods.’

Last week, Kim posted a make-up free video alongside the caption ‘psoriasis face’. The reality TV star has battled with the skin condition since 2011 and documented her first breakout on E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

At the time, Kim was worried the psoriasis would affect her getting booked for photo campaigns but she’s clearly learned how to live with the condition.

Kim previously said of the condition: ‘Sometimes I just feel like it’s my big flaw and everyone knows about it, so why cover it? ‘I’m always hoping for a cure, of course, but in the meantime, I’m learning to just accept it as part of who I am.’

In 2016, the 38-year-old vowed never to cover up the patches so others would also feel comfortable embracing the ailment.
