Ghanaian singer and songwriter King Promise has released his third album, ‘True To Self,’ showcasing his unique sound and style.
This album features 12 songs and includes collaborations with both Ghanaian and international artists.
In a social media post, the award-winning Afrobeat artist expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped bring the album to life. King Promise wrote, “BEYOND PROUD TO ANNOUNCE, MY NEW ALBUM ‘TRUE TO SELF’ is out now on all platforms! Big love & respect to everyone who helped work on this & brought my crazy ideas to life. This is for you guys. Enjoy this special body of work made with love & truth. Go crazy with it & stay true to self 🙏🏾💚 #TrueToSelf.”
Before the album’s release, King Promise hosted a listening session for industry professionals and business people to preview the new tracks.
During the session, an auction was held, and the album was sold to the highest bidder.
King Promise’s passion for creating music is unwavering. “You attain new heights in life, in career, in love, in family and business. All those push you to believe even more,” he said.
This passion is evident in the impressive list of collaborators on ‘True To Self,’ which includes artists like Fave, Sarkodie, Ladipoe, Shallipopi, Lasmid, and Haitian-American singer Fridayy.
‘True To Self’ follows his previous successful albums ‘As Promised’ (2019) and ‘5 Star’ (2022).
