The Ministry of Health says screening at the Kotoka International Airport for the Coronavirus will no longer be restricted to travellers from affected countries but all other travellers.
This comes after the virus is said to be spreading at a fast rate to other countries like the UK and Scotland.
The decision came up after the Service held an emergency meeting to access the preparedness of the country to deal with or properly manage the virus, especially at entry points.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana the Director of Public Health, Ghana Health Service, Dr. Badu Sarkodie, said the Service is on high alert to avert any situation should the virus be detected here.
