Deputy Minister of Energy, William Owireku Aidoo, has reiterated the government’s readiness to include the private sector in the distribution of electricity in the country.
Speaking on news and current affairs programme ‘Behind the News’, Mr. Aidoo said, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), can only become independent when the private sector is involved.
According to him, that is the only way politicians can be stopped from getting involved in the affairs of the company, thereby making it work independently.
