The Ghana Statistical Service is to begin a Trial Census in three Districts Today.
These are the Dormaa West District in the Bono Region, Bunkpurugu District in the North East Region and parts of the Accra Metropolis.
Head of Census Publicity at the Ghana Statistical Service, Francis Nyarko- Larbi told GBC that the exercise will be paperless.
The GSS said it will spend GHS1.97 million for the first phase of the pilot population census which began on 26 May 2019.
The trail census is expected to help the GSS test its instruments and tools for a full-blown population census next year.
