Public Relations Officer of Accra Regional Police Command, DSP Effia Tenge says the heavy Police deployment at the beaches in Accra will continue as part of measures to enforce Covid-19 protocols on beach gathering.
She said the deployment covers all beaches to ensure that revelers do not throng them in defiance of the executive orders.
Prior to the deployment, letters were dispatched to the Management of the Resorts to officially alert them of the exercise by the security agencies.
