A Senior State Attorney in the Upper East Region Emmanuel Lawson Otoo Boison has been implicated in ‘Justice for Cash’ investigation carried out by EIB’s investigative journalist.
The documentary conducted by EIB’s Upper East Correspondent Edward Adeti exposes the State Attorneys receiving cash, goat and giving out relevant information to help the suspect go scot-free.
The 38-minute documentary also shows some officials of DOVVSU requesting monies from victims before processing their cases.
The undercover probe, conducted within four months in the Upper East Region, is a case study on allegations Ghanaians have leveled openly against some state’s attorneys.
