Director of the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research, ISSER at the University of Ghana Prof Peter Quartey has raised concerns about Ghana’s debt stock which according to him has exceeded the accepted threshold.
In an interview with GBC News, Prof Quarteycalled for a medium-term strategy which involves enhanced revenue generation.
This is because Ghana does not have the option to stop and advised that borrowing is done cautiously and channeled only to projects that will generate income.
