An Accra Circuit Court has ordered Lawyers for the alleged Western Togoland Secessionists to file their arguments properly and submit it on the next adjourned date if they want bail for their clients.
This was after the court discharged three out of the twenty-seven accused persons who were remanded last week.
The court presided over by Rosemary Baah Tosu, who was not satisfied with the bail submissions by the lawyers, remanded the remaining twenty-four accused persons into prison custody.
The twenty-four persons have now been charged with offences such as causing riot, unlawful damage, conspiracy to commit crime, treason felony and stealing. The case has been adjourned to the 23rd of this month.
