Executive Director at the Gender Centre for Empowering Development (GenCED), Esther Tawiah, has appealed to voters to stay away from massing up at Polling stations on December 7, after casting their ballots, so as to avoid fomenting trouble.

She asked the electorate to stay at home and monitor the elections via media broadcasts.

Speaking to Rebecca Ekpe on “Women’s role in ensuring credible and peaceful election 2020”, Madam Tawiah said more women should be engaged as peace mediators to sustain the process, adding that, women have over the period become more responsive to the political discourse.
