A forum has taken place in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, on the fertilizer production chain to improve crop yield in the country.
It was organized by the Fertilizers Research and Responsible Implementation Programme, FERRARI, and the Ministry for Food and Agriculture.
Director of Agriculture and Head of the seed Unit at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Dr. Solomon Gyan Asan, said engineers and technocrats are working seriously to bring to fruition governments plan to establish a fertilizer plant in the country to reduce its importation.
