Financial Analyst cautions against 'ponzi scams'

Financial Analyst, Dr. Ebenezer Ashley is cautioning investors and the Ghanaian public to be careful of the ‘ponzi scam’ going on in the financial sub sector.
 
He said anyone who wants to invest in any of the financial institutions must go beyond checking the license of the Company.
 
They should also look out for audited financial statements of the Company among others.
 
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, Dr. Ashley said the various reported cases of such ‘ponzi scams’ in the media is as a result of the laxity of the Bank of Ghana implementing its regulations to the latter.
