The Head of Programmes of GBC-URA Radio in the Upper East Region, Harrison .A. Abayeta has passed on.
He died after a short illness on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
Mr. Abayeta was employed at the Ghana Broadcasting Cooperation, (GBC), as Office Assistant in 1980.
He rose through the ranks and became a Manager-Programmes.
He left behind two wives and seven children. Burial and funeral rites will be announced later.
