Herdsmen and cattle from the Sahelian region have invaded the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region destroying farm lands, crops and water bodies in the area.
According to residents of eight affected communities, the situation has compelled them to share their only source of water, the River Tain, with the animals.
They are therefore appealing for help from government to check the herdsmen as well as provide them with potable water.
