The Chamber of Independent power producers has served notice to withdraw its services if the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), fails to settle at least 80 percent of their overdue receivables.
According to the power producers, the receivables owed them by ECG and government amounts to more than $1 billion and this must be settled as a matter of urgency and priority.
