The Greater Accra Regional Director of the Centre for National Culture, Alice Alima Kala, has reiterated the need for various agencies particularly the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) to factor drama in their operations to help educate the public on the COVID-19 safety protocols.

According to her, drama as an action will help play a significant role in the education process since children particularly love to watch television.

Mrs Alima Kala said this when the National Commission on Culture, held a sensitization programme in the Shai-Osudoku District.

It was supported by the Rescue Volunteers Ghana with funding from the COVID-19 Trust Fund.

Speaking with GBC News, Mrs Alima Kala noted that using drama as a tool to educate Ghanaians on the disease will help fight the pandemic.

The Country Coordinator of Rescue Volunteers, Mrs Lydia Tsotsoo Odai Tettey, expressed worry over low use of nose masks and social distancing in the markets.

She said  her Agency will continue to distribute nose masks and hand sanitizers to the traders in the market.
