The NDC political committee is holding a meeting over the death of former President Rawlings and how to give him a befitting burial.
Chairing the meeting is former President Mahama at his office at Cantonment.
Also present is the General Secretary of the Party Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Chairman of the NDC Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Former Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Ajaho and Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu.
Speaking on the sidelines of the meeting, the Minority leader said the late former president played a pivotal role in Ghana’s democratic dispensation.
After the meeting, the NDC will be led by Former Minister of Trade and Industry Dan Abodakpi to the house of the Former President to commiserate with the family.
