Head of Public Relations of the Greater Accra Police Command, ASP Afia Tenge, says they have commenced investigations into the bomb explosion that occurred at the La Beach last Wednesday, August 5, leaving four children injured in the process.
She said all four children have since been treated and discharged.
ASP Tenge said the explosion occurred when the children were playing along the La Beach.
She advised parents not to leave their children without the needed parental guide particularly at this time when they are home.
Also, children should be discouraged from handling unfamiliar objects. She advised the public, especially parents and community leaders, to be wary of strange objects they chance upon and inform the Police.
