The Accra Regional Police Command has said it will go all out to fight crime and make this year free from crime.
It said it will contain all forms of violence and chieftaincy disputes and make kidnapping a thing of the past,” the Accra regional police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of police (DCOP) Frederick Adu Anim, was speaking on the outcome of the security arrangements put in place ahead of the Christmas and New Year festivities, which he said helped significantly to contain crime during the period.
The arrangement, he said, had been under a coordinated and programmed operation condemned ‘Father Christmas’, spearheaded by the IGP James Oppong-Boanuh, and the Accra Regional Police Command, led by its Operation Unit.
