The Public Service Workers Union (PSWU), has expressed worry over government’s posture in the negotiation of a new minimum wage and base pay by the Tripartite Committee.

This is due to the inability to give assurance of a salary increment this year in the various May Day speeches.

Despite this, General Secretary of the PSWU, Bernard Adjei, says negotiations are ongoing smoothly.

He told GBC that the Technical Sub Committee has concluded its report and is expected to submit it to the Tripartite Committee next week for the next phase of negotiations.
