A renowned Broadcaster, Cyril Acolatse is dead. He was 77 years.
The sad event occurred in Tema on the October, 28, 2019.
Mr. Acolatse was formerly at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) Radio and Television.
He was also a former Vice President of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) and a former member of the National Media Commission, (NMC).
Cyril Acolatse, prior to retirement was Assistant Director of Radio.
Among the programs he hosted on Ghana Television were Focus, Searchlight, Insight, Topic, Talking Point.
He won the Outstanding Interviewer Award in 1989 and 1990.
Mr. Acolatse was husband to Mrs. Appolonia Acolatse, father of Media Consultant and Broadcaster Eyram Bashan, News Anchor and Host of Women’s Voice on GBC News, Mrs. Selikem Acolatse Apaloo, Founder & CEO of MindNet Technologies, Carl Makafui Acolatse, and Louisa Elom Acolatse an Entrepreneur.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
