A Security Analyst, Adam Bonaa, says Ghana could be sitting on a time bomb if immediate steps are not taken to retrieve unregistered weapons in the possession of civilians.
Mr. Bonaa in an interview with GBC News said Ghana’s accolade as the haven of peace in the Sub-region cannot be grounds for complacency because in recent times, nine out of ten of the crimes committed involve the use of firearms.
He said the shooting and killing of an ambulance driver must be a wake-up call to all.
