The Public Utilities Workers’ Union, PUWU, is calling on government to permanently halt the operations of the Teshie Desalination Plant or at best sell it off to save the Ghana Water Company Limited from collapsing.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, the General Secretary of the union, Michael Adumatta Nyantakyi, explained that the Socio -Economic problems posed by the operations of the plant to GWCL, the populace and the country far outweigh its benefits.
