Three committees inaugurated to tackle bottlenecks in road sector

The Ministry of Roads and Highways has inaugurated three technical Committees to address bottlenecks in the road sector to enable the public stay alive and healthy on the road.

One Committee will look at improving Safety on Trunk, Urban and Feeder Roads while another will be tackling Congestion Reduction in Cities and Trunk Roads.

The last committee is the Classification Committee, expected to advise and recommend management solutions to deal with safety, Congestion and falsification of road certificates among others.

Speaking at the ceremony, the sector minister, Kwasi Amoako-Attah, said government will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the recommendations of the Committees are implemented to bring sanity on the roads.
