Executive Director for the Centre for Financial Literacy Education Africa, Peter Asare Nyarko says it is incumbent on individuals to inculcate the habit of financial discipline.
He said this is only achievable when there is some level of financial literacy within the public domain.
Speaking to Thelma Tackie on the GTV Breakfast Show, Mr. Asare Nyarko explained that financial literacy is a set of principles that guide an individual to manage their finances.
“People are not aware as to how to go about their daily management of their finances, and the situation is gradually becoming a culture which needs to be addressed”, according to Executive Director, Centre for Financial Literacy Education Africa, Peter Asare Nyarko.
