Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission calls on GBC

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Ghana has reiterated its partnership with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) for capacity building and exchange programmes.

The Ameer and missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya mission in Ghana, Alhaji Mohammed Bin-salih made this known when a delegation of the mission paid a courtesy call on the management of the GBC in Accra.

“Through the partnership, the Mission’s technical know-how and ultra modern broadcasting equipment could used to advance the work of the GBC.”

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission and the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation have a long-standing relationship in broadcasting programmes where the Corporation with its limited resources has helped to promote the work of the Ahmadiyya Mission in Ghana.

The Ameer, Alhaji Mohammed Bin-Salhi said, the Ahmadiya Mission now has an ultra modern studio being manned by experts, who are available to train personnel of the State Broadcaster.

The Director-General of GBC, Professor Amin Alhassan was excited about the offer, which will help deepen the relations between the Corporation and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission.

The Ahmadiya Muslim Mission delegation presented some Muslim literature to the Director General and urged the Corporation  to continue to broadcast Ahmadiyya programmes in fulfillment of its public service mandate.
