Presenting the items, a member of the Association, Francis Adzah said the gesture which is the first batch was prompted by lack of adequate PPE at the facility.

He added that members of the Association who live home and abroad thought it wise to contribute to the health and safety needs of people in the area especially in the wake of coronavirus.

The Medical Director of the Anfoega Catholic Hospital, Dr Richard Loglo thanked members of the Association for the gesture saying it has brought relief for staff at the facility which has run-out of stock of PPE.

He appealed for more support from the public and benevolent organisations to enable them work without fear.

The Afoega Youth Association intends to donate the second batch of PPE to the Hospital in the middle of this month.
