The Nkosuohene of Kwahu Nkwatia in the Eastern Region, Nana Owiredu Wadie, who is also the Chairman of Kabaka Foundation an NGO, has donated some assorted items to about eight hundred people in his Community at East Legon in Accra, as part of the celebration of Christmas.

The items included rice, oil, chicken, canned tomatoes, sardines, eggs, bread, and sachet water.

Nana Wadie noted that his aim is to put smiles on the faces of people especially the vulnerable in the community to make them also feel part of society especially during the Christmas celebration.

He said the level of urban poor communities in Accra is very high and called on other benevolent organizations and philanthropists to emulate the gesture to help the less privileged in society.

The beneficiaries included mothers and children who live in kiosks and uncompleted buildings in and around Ashaley Botwe School Junction in the Greater Accra Region.
