An Accra High Court has issued a bench warrant for the immediate arrest of Samuel Hinson, the site manager of the Turkish Construction firm, which is at the centre of the 22-storey building saga at the Airport residential area.

This was after lawyer for Association International School, Belinda Pwamang, made a request for a court warrant to be issued for his arrest.

The court, presided over by Justice Nicolas Mensah Abodakpi, ruled that Mr Hinson who is the 2nd respondent in the matter, has deliberately refused to make himself available to the court.

Lawyer for Kess Plus Company, the first respondent, told the court that their affidavit-in-opposition to the suit, is yet to be served on the applicant.

However, with the site manager, the court observed that he should have been served by now, after the posting of the order of substituted service, which was granted on December 5 last year.

The notice was then posted on December 20, for a 14 day period.

The court noted that a period of 14 days has elapsed and the 2nd respondent is deemed to have been served with the processes. The case has been adjourned to January 29, 2020.
