Deputy Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum says the six students of Accra Girls Senior High School and an instructor and his wife who tested positive to COVID-19 have been quarantined and are receiving the best of health care.
Speaking at the Media briefing on the pandemic, Dr. Adutwum said about six hundred contacts have also been traced.
He urged parents to exercise restraint as stakeholders work to ensure the safety of the students.
Dr. Adutwum said the students are being psyched to enable them to continue with their studies despite recorded cases in the school.
