Luck smiled on a Hyundai Mighty truck driver on Monday, August 16, 2021, when his brake failed him and hit an electric pole at Ritz Junction near Madina in Accra.
The driver had his leg broken, while two passengers in the vehicle got out of the truck unhurt.

The vehicle, with a registration number GS 8399-10, which somersaulted was conveying alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from Adenta to Accra.
Eyewitnesses said the brake of the truck failed and the driver in an attempt to avoid hitting the vehicles in front of him hit the electric pole.
The driver had since been sent to hospital and is receiving treatment.
