Some election stakeholders have been sharing their views with the media ahead of the Supreme Court verdict today (March 21).

Political Science Professor, Ransford Gyampo says the pronouncement by the judges should not only bring finality to the lingering issues regarding who won the 2020 Presidential Election, but, it should also provide some matching orders, in the sense that there should be constructive criticisms that will improve the countries electoral systems.

A member of the Board of the National Peace Council, Nana Professor SKB Asante, who is also the Paramount Chief of Asokore Asante in the Ashanti Region cautioned that every well-meaning Ghanaian must desist from inciteful commentaries that are likely to breach the peace.

He alluded to the storming of the US Capitol Building by Pro-Trump supporters in the US and said that was a bad example that must not be emulated.

National Democratic Congress’ Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi and New Patriotic Party’s Youth Organizer Nana Boakye indicated that they have cautioned their followers to remain peaceful after the Supreme Court declares the verdict.
