A family of four on February 1, 2022 died in a fire incident which occurred at Effiakuma in the Western Region. The incident happened at their residence close to the Takoradi Technical Institute, TTI Masters’ Flat.
Head of the National Disaster Management Organization, NADMO at Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly, Henry Kwofie who confirmed the incident to GBC News, said three persons died on the spot, while one other passed on at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital early Wednesday morning from severe burns.
The bodies of the four, Husband, Papa Tawiah, Wife, Angelina Hasford, daughter who is a nurse and a granddaughter have been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Morgue.
