Fire has almost completely consumed the seven-bedroom private mansion of the Ejisu Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, Samuel Oduro Frimpong located at Kobriso, a suburb of Ejisu in the Ashanti region.
The incident has been reported to the Ejisu Police who have already visited the scene. Confirming the incident to the media, Mr. Frimpong said the fire broke out when he was on an official party assignment relating to Monday’s elections in the Constituency.
He said no casualty was recorded but property worth thousands of Ghana Cedis has been destroyed.
According to him, the incident is being investigated by both the Police and the Fire Service.
