Ghana and Nigeria impasse unhealthy – Senior Researcher

A Senior Researcher at the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy, LECIAD, Dr. Ken Ahorsu has described as unhealthy the impasse between Ghana and Nigeria.

Speaking to host Ibrahim Kwarteng, on Radio Ghana’s current  affair programme, ‘Behind The News’ Dr. Ahorsu said Africa is currently being associated with negative activities which is affecting its image globally.

He added that, it is important to distinguish between international trade and transnational crimes as the two are not the same and that the two issues should not be put together to avoid conflict.

Dr. Ahorsu called on the Nigerian High Commission to avoid taking sides and rather collaborate with Ghana to find a lasting solution to the problem.
