IGP pays courtesy call on Attorney General

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh says the Police has made good progress in its investigations in the murder of undercover investigative Journalist, Mr. Ahmed Hussein-Suale, who was shot to death by some unidentified men in January 2019.

The IGP says his administration will bring closure to this case as well as all other murder cases pending before the courts.

Mr. Oppong-Boanuh paid a courtesy call on the Attorney-General, Mr. Godfred Yeboah-Dame and promised that the Police Administration will collaborate closely with the Attorney-General’s Department to ensure both work to promote a stronger justice system.

The two also discussed security, domestic violence, cyber and economic crime, murder and the recent surge in secessionist offenses.
