Angry residents of Kasoa have demanded a change in the poor state of their roads through a demonstration happening around the Tuba on the Kasoa to Accra road.
The protesters have caused severe traffic on the roads as they embark on their demonstration leaving passengers no choice but to alight and walk to their destinations while others have to wait for several hours in traffic.
The bad state of the Kasoa roads has been an issue of concern in the past few years and has become more terrible in 2023.
The continued rainfall happening in Ghana this year has affected many living in Kasoa, especially road users who have no choice but to be in traffic for hours before getting to their destination.
After several attempts being made which have yielded no results, the protesters are fed up and have called on authorities to fix their roads.
The protesters are seen with placards with some inscriptions such as, “ My girl left me because of poor roads, “ Drivers are suffering passengers are suffering “ among others.
