One of the two teenage boys accused of killing a ten-year-old boy at Kasoa for alleged ritual purposes has pleaded with the Accra High Court to order for fingerprint examination on exhibits retrieved from the crime scene to prove his innocence.

The eighteen-year-old accused Nicholas Kani and his juvenile accomplice are alleged to have killed the deceased Ishmael Mensah Abdallah on April 3, 2021 after luring him to an uncompleted building at Kasoa Coca Cola in the Central Region.

They are alleged to have hit the deceased with a cement block leading to his death.

The accused has however denied any involvement in the death of Ishmael. He said the testimony of the other accused person linking him to the crime is false.

Nicholas also claims that the other accused person was never his friend as reported, although he spent the night with him in his room the day before the alleged crime was committed.
