Management of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) says it has initiated investigations into an allegation of poor quality of service and staff attitude at the Polyclinic.

A statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital, Dr. Daniel Asare said it has taken note of the allegation made on social media by Selorm Branttie describing how he witnessed a poor quality of service when an 82-year-old patient got to the polyclinic.

Reacting to this, Dr. Daniel Asare said, “the issues raised have been given top priority by the Board and Management of the Hospital and a Committee has been constituted to begin investigations.”

It added the public will be duly informed of the outcome of the investigation and any actions taken as soon as a decision is reached.

The statement pledged the Hospital’s commitment to providing excellent care to patients and stakeholders and stated that it will  do its best to make patients come first at all times.
