The menace of land guards encroaching and destroying farm lands at Abokobi does not seem to be ending anytime soon, despite police intervention and investigation.
An 80-year-old farmer, Tetteh Nartey told GBC’s Radio Ghana that the Abokobi farming community is under siege.
Tetteh Nartey who was a Regional Best Farmer appealed to President Akufo-Addo to help stem the menace.
“I went to my site and saw land guards and they were trying to sell some portions of my land to an unknown person. So even, I made an attempt to call the police and they run away.”
He said the land guard intrusion started ten years back.
