The people of Ladɔwayo, a Community close to Odumse in the Greater Accra Region, are in dire need of potable water.

Ladɔwayo, literally meaning Small Fire Stream, has a stream which is several kilometres away as the only source of water for humans and livestock.

The main road leading to the Town and the adjoining routes are all in a deplorable state.

The Head Pastor of the Christ Liberation Centre of the Assemblies of God Church, Reverend Prince Eddie Daniels, who for almost four years has pastored the only Church in the Community, said he decided to build a Church in the Community to help the people to get closer to God and assist them with some basic amenities.

Reverend Daniels was speaking to GBC-Obonu News when a Charitable Organisation Love Nest Foundation, donated some educational materials, used clothing and confectionery to children in the Community.

He said apart from the lack of potable water and bad roads, it is also disheartening the Community has no school; therefore children of school-going age have to trek several kilometres to Odumse to attend school.

The Founder of Love Nest, Mrs Nana Yaa Kyei, spoke of her motivation to visit and support the deprived town.
