The Bishop of the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese, Most Reverend Alfred Agyenta, has challenged all Christians especially Catholics to make it a routine of praying the Holy Rosary daily.

He said praying the Holy Rosary is the only communication channel the mother of Jesus understands. He was of the view that many Catholics have had their breakthroughs in life through the intercession of Mother Mary.

He made these remarks at the prayer grounds in Kongo in the Nabdam District of the Upper East Region to end this year’s four days pilgrimage.

Most Reverend Agyenta challenged all the pilgrims to always make it a point to have the Holy Rosary in their bags and pockets since it is the only channel to Mother Mary, the biggest weapon to driving away the evil ones and helping them live a good Christian life.

This year’s programme recorded an unexpected greater numbers from all over the country who came to pray for their personal needs, give thanks to God and also share testimonies.

The District Chief Executive for Nabdam, Agnes Anamoo, who was accompanied by the former DCE, Madam Vivian Anafo, in a testimony expressed great joy and appreciation to Mother Mary for the wonderful things and blessings in her life.

She challenged her colleague women to be prayerful and committed in their daily life.

The four days prayer programme had activities like Talk show, Rosary Prayers, Stations of the Cross, Confessions, Prayers and Healings, among others.
