On the occasion of May Day tomorrow, the State Broadcaster GBC congratulates workers whose toil have built this great nation.
A statement by Management of the Corporation signed by the Director General Prof. Amin Alhassan says GBC’s plans for financial solvency are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic just like every business.
It noted that the longer the crises lasts, the more devastating the impact will be for business.
The statement acknowledged and commended the role of gallant staff to the corporation throughout the country.
The Director-General said he always believes in the abilities of staff whose qualities and commitment kept the corporation afloat for almost 85 years.
The statement said as part of measures to stop the spread of the virus, the corporation has invested considerable resources into providing basic safety items for staff.
It urges Ghanaians to continue to observe the safety protocols to help in the fight against the disease.
