The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) project according to government will cost three billion cedis in three years. About 800 million cedis in a year will be sunk into beneficiaries salaries; meaning 70 million cedis a month will be paid from the consolidated fund.

Some Economists have analysed this to mean a further burden on government’s treasury and on the tax payer because as the President stated yesterday ”the tax payer will foot the bill of the NABCO graduates stipend.”
