Police visit family of Nana Ama Clarke at Takoradi in Western Region

The Central Regional Police Command with support from the Western Regional Command, on May 24, 2022 visited the bereaved family of the late Nana Ama Clarke at Takoradi.

The Regional Commander, DCOP Mr Alexander Amenyoh consoled the family and also gave the assurance that ”the Police are working hard in their investigations to arrest and bring the perpetrators to book”.

He also appealed to the public to assist the Police with credible information on the issue.

Nana Ama Clarke was a Level Three Marketing Student at Cape Coast Technical University.

On May 15, 2022 about 2100Hrs Police said they had information that a female adult was found dead at the roadside, at OLA Estate near OLA College of Education at Cape Coast.
Police said they proceeded to the scene and found the body of an unknown person aged about 24 years lying naked with her private part, ”Virgina” cut off, with bruises on her body.

The Body has since been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Mortuary, pending further investigations.
