The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has expressed grief over the horrific accident at Kintampo that has claimed over 30 lives.
The President, in a tweet posted on Tuesday, March 10, expressed his condolences to families and loved ones of the deceased and also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
“My sympathies and condolences go to all the families and loved ones of the deceased in Monday’s horrific accident on the Kintampo-Tamale Highway. May their souls Rest In Peace. I also wish the injured a speedy recovery.”

Meanwhile, the number of people confirmed dead in Monday, March 9 gory accident in Kintampo has risen to thirty three.
Earlier reports indicated that a Grandbird Bus veered off its lane and collided head-on with a Sprinter Bus.
