The District Chief Executive, DCE, for Kpandai, Emmanuel Atta Tatablata has expressed worry about the spate of child kidnappings and motorbike robberies in recent times across the district.

He observed that these activities have created fear and panic among residents.

He has therefore asked people to be on the lookout and report any unusual activities by individuals or groups of persons in the area.

Mr. Tatablata was addressing members of the Kpandai District Assembly at his confirmation at Kpandai in the Northern Region.

Joyce Kantam Kolamong reports that the robberies are gradually becoming a menace in the district adding that it is important for residents to take keen interest in activities of strangers in communities.

This is because these issues are affecting the economic, social and political lives of the people.

Mr. Tatablata received an overwhelming endorsement of 39 votes, representing 95 percent while two people voted against his nomination.
